I wanted to love Starfield. I never really got into Oblivion, and despite its popularity I dropped out of Skyrim a lot faster than most others. My favourite Bethesda open world RPG is actually Fallout New Vegas, which was actually made by Obsidian Entertainment. But I had high hopes for Starfield, thinking maybe a sci-fi shooter RPG would draw me in more than the classic fantasy did.
