Hidden object games might have passed their peak, but there’s still something kind of cathartic about completing them. Does Hidden Through Time 2: Myths & Magic bring anything new to the genre?

The main thing you want in any hidden object game is clear images, and Hidden Through Time 2 pulls this off with a whimsical art style that has plenty of detail without being so complex that it’s exhausting to look at. The scenes have some really nice environmental storytelling, and even though it comes with full voiceover introductions to each level, you could probably work out most of the stuff that was happening without it.
